Darlington 2018
As usual we held our main exhibition at Darlington on October 13th 2018. Here is part one of a selection of photos from that show.

Darlington Exhibition October 2018 - A Liberty Ship Propulsion Engine by Alan Blair. Liberty Ships were built in large numbers under an emergency ship building programme in the early part of the Second World War. These engines were well proven and were very reliable. (13/10/2018)

Darlington Exhibition October 2018 - This is a Meccano version of the 'Fender Telecaster Electric Guitar' built by Alex Robson. It can actually be played and has the following features:-
1) It is a full size model.
2) The bridge has individual string height and intonation adjustment.
3) Pickups are height adjustable.
4) Neck features 21 frets.

Darlington Exhibition October 2018 - Bob Seaton's partially built model of the 1960 2-10-0 Class 9F locomotive No.92220 'Evening Star'. Features added to date include; Frames, Driving Wheels, Connecting & Coupling Rods, Front Bogie, Driving Wheel Brakes, Sanding Pipes, Valve Gear & Mechanical Lubricators. The original locomotive was built in Swindon in 1960 it was the only one of the class to be named and carry BR passenger green livery. (13/10/2018)

Darlington Exhibition October 2018 - Rob and Wendy Miller's rather neat working excavator. This was apparently a Binns Rd. Model room creation which was made available to dealers which they had obtained from UK Meccano dealer Mike Rhoades. (13/10/2018)
